I haven't received any rotten eggs or vegetables as of yet on my blog, but rather an encouraging note from my best friend and a few suggestions to improve from a nice friend. So, now i can be at ease that my previous composition has not been a complete waste of time and brain!!
The days of work-less-ness continues! Except for a small remote demo ( that too observing the demo!), today was as uneventful as yesterday....but my mind tells me to stop fretting and enjoy these free hours cuz sooner or later they too would be just figments of my imagination. I am so sure of it as i have seen the turn of these events back in college.
Back then, when you had to work like asinine, doing ass-ignments, preparing for endless tests and presentations, put up with the disgusting and expensive hostel food, you treasure every second of the once in a month break to go home! But this going home frenzy stays up with its full intensity only when the duration of holidays are short, believe me, it is! Once the “vacation” crosses the 3rd day(mostly, it never was more than 2 days) you would start egging to go back to your effing hostel because you are soooo used to working your *** off, that you cant stand the idleness for more than just a few days . You just need a break enough to refresh. Besides, its only and always the hard labored day that honors our memories.
“I cannot walk through the suburbs in the solitude of the night without thinking that the night pleases us because it suppresses idle details, just as our memory does.” Jorge Luis Borges
These flash backs are quite resourceful, to get you past the era of idleness just enough before the devil's work shop takes over !!! So, ill just take up these leisure as a timely treat (to the envy of my busy colleagues) to brush up my literary skills (also my job related skills, lest I should get fired!) and stay fresh for the days of “hard labor”. Hopefully!
Adieu!!!
